Established in 2004 after Prof. Jonathan Tennyson and Dr. Daniel Brown's spin-out from University College London (UCL), the company's vision was to simplify complex plasma and molecular modelling for both researchers and the operating industry. Calculations of advanced electron scattering previously believed to take years to complete were reduced by Quantemol's first product, Quantemol-N, into a matter of minutes.
