Technical Content Writer & Instructor

Job Description

Job Title: Senior Technical Content Writer and Instructor. Location: Remote (United States / Canada)

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with subject matter experts to create learning materials on quantum computing, optimization, algorithms, and physics
• Design and improve curriculum, ensuring alignment with learning objectives and industry needs
• Develop assessments to evaluate learner understanding and course effectiveness
• Deliver training sessions, workshops, hackathons, and instructor-led programs;
• Support learners through office hours, forums, and assignment feedback
• Build and maintain LMS course content, updates, and reporting
• Formulate and solve real-world optimization problems using Python
• Communicate complex technical topics in a clear and structured way;
• Travel occasionally (~25%) for training and client engagements

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in operations research, data science, mathematics, physics, computer science, or related field
• 3+ years experience in optimization, data science, or applied research environments
• Strong experience in real-world optimization problems (manufacturing, logistics, fintech, etc.)
• Strong Python programming skills with version control (Git) experience;
• Solid understanding of optimization methods including mixed-integer programming and heuristics
• Experience in technical writing and teaching adult learners;
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with SMEs and stakeholders

Preferred:

• Experience designing technical training programs or curricula
• Experience in quantum optimization or quantum-inspired algorithms
• Exposure to AI/ML tools for learning or problem solving;
• Experience working with enterprise or research clients on applied optimization problems
