PMO Manager - Haas Programs

Job Description

Job Title: PMO Manager – HaaS Programs. Location: Broomfield, Colorado, USA. This role plays a key part in shaping the future of Quantinuum’s hardware and service offerings.

Key duties:

  • Lead detailed schedules, budgets, and work plans for complex quantum hardware development programs.
  • Coordinate activities across multiple technical and operational teams within the Helios PMO.
  • Communicate strategy, risks, progress, and key updates through reports, dashboards, and presentations.
  • Mentor project engineers and promote collaboration and continuous improvement;
  • Conduct regular status meetings, project reviews, and retrospectives to optimize delivery structure.
  • Define and track milestones, KPIs, and program goals;
  • Identify opportunities to accelerate schedules or introduce new technology solutions.
  • Align quantum hardware R&D efforts with broader business and product strategies.
  • Oversee risk and opportunity analysis, ensuring appropriate escalation and mitigation processes.
  • Travel up to 25% as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • At least 8 years of experience in technical program management.
  • Must be a U.S. person (citizen, permanent resident, or green card holder) due to contractual and security requirements.
  • Candidates cannot be nationals of China or Russia unless they also hold U.S. citizenship.

Preferred:

  • Master’s degree in a STEM field.
  • Background in quantum computing, optics, or photonics.
  • PMP certification;
  • Proven experience in product development and early-stage technology projects.
  • Skilled in managing full life cycles of technology-based programs.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills;
  • Experience working with executives and clients on strategic technical initiatives.

Compensation and benefits:

Annual salary range: $158,000–$197,000, including incentive eligibility and bonus potential; Actual pay depends on experience, skills, and education.
