Data Performance Engineer - Integration

Job Description

Job Title: Quantum Data Performance Engineer - Systems Integration. Location: Copenhagen, Kongens Lyngby, Denmark

Job Type: Full-time, on-site hybrid (3 days per week in office)

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate across technical teams to understand subsystem behavior in quantum computers
• Design and maintain data pipelines for continuous performance monitoring
• Perform advanced statistical analysis and data mining to detect trends and risks;
• Identify anomalies and system-level performance issues across quantum hardware subsystems
• Communicate insights to stakeholders to support technical decision-making
• Develop dashboards and monitoring systems for subsystem health tracking
• Support root-cause analysis using historical performance data;
• Work with software teams to improve data infrastructure and reporting tools

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree or higher in Physics, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Experience in large-scale data analysis and statistical modeling
• Experience building and maintaining automated data pipelines or monitoring systems
• Strong ability to work in interdisciplinary research and engineering environments
• Must meet Microsoft security and export control requirements;
• Ability to use AI tools for data analysis, automation, and performance modeling

Preferred:

• Experience with superconducting or semiconductor physics
• Knowledge of RF measurement techniques and cryogenic systems
• Experience with statistical process control methods
• Experience in experimental design and performance validation;
• Strong communication skills for translating data into actionable insights
• Experience using AI/ML for performance tracking and system optimization
