Nanofabrication Technician

Job Description

Job Title: Nanofabrication Technician. Location: British Columbia, Canada

Responsibilities:

• Operate nanofabrication equipment including deposition systems, lithography tools, etching systems, and characterization tools
• Execute fabrication processes following detailed procedures and cleanroom protocols;
• Collaborate with researchers, engineers, and technical teams to improve fabrication workflows
• Maintain accurate records of process parameters, equipment performance, and experimental data
• Follow strict safety and cleanroom standards during all fabrication activities

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in nanofabrication
• Associate’s degree, diploma, or equivalent technical training in a related field
• Experience with thin film deposition, wet processing, lithography, etching, and characterization
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities;
• Ability to multitask and manage work in a fast-paced cleanroom environment
• Ability to work flexible hours and across multiple locations in the Greater Vancouver Area

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related field
