Job Description

Job Title: Quantum Network Engineer Intern 2027. Location: Yorktown Heights, New York, USA

Responsibilities:

• Help design, implement, and maintain the network connecting quantum computers and their components.
• Support networking infrastructure used for internal quantum research and development.
• Help maintain connectivity between IBM quantum systems and global clients.
• Explore tools and techniques for automated management of large numbers of networked devices and components.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Background in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
• Proficiency in Linux.
• Knowledge of automation using Ansible and Python.
• Understanding of APIs;
• Interest in working in computer networking.
• Associate's Degree or College Diploma preferred.
• General networking and security knowledge preferred.
• Knowledge of DevOps and GitHub processes preferred.
• Understanding of SNMP preferred.

Benefits and Compensation:

• Projected salary: $88,200 per year.
