IBM Careers

IBM has been a leader in quantum computing for years. It has created many pioneering quantum computing systems and innovations. Most notably, in 2023, it unveiled the 127-qubit Eagle processor and the 433-qubit Osprey processor. It has recently announced the Quantum System Two, a modular system containing the Heron processor that is built for scalable utility quantum computing. Such advancements in quantum computing technology, built on foundational integrated quantum technology systems, position IBM as a leader in the development of cutting-edge quantum technology.  

As the world’s first large-scale, fault-tolerant quantum computer, IBM’s Starling system will reportedly outperform current quantum computers by 20,000 operations and will be able to perform 20,000 operations. This ambitious project is slated to be completed by 2029. In 2026, IBM will also meet its commitment to quantum computing by ensuring the Quantum Computing Center in Amaravati, India, meets the deadline. This will not only continue the development of quantum computing in India but also further IBM's global presence.
