Job Description

Job Title: Master@IBM Project Management and Delivery Excellence (f/m/x). Location: Cologne (Köln), North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany

Job Type: Internship (Fixed Term, Hybrid)

Responsibilities:

• Support project management activities throughout the project lifecycle
• Assist with project planning, organization, risk management, and delivery to ensure projects meet quality, schedule, and budget goals
• Learn project management tools, methods, and best practices while working with experienced project managers
• Help prepare customer proposals, including requirements gathering, project planning, effort estimation, team organization, quality assurance, and presentations
• Support the identification, development, and implementation of AI-based use cases to improve project management efficiency and transparency
• Assist in preparing, facilitating, and following up on project meetings, governance boards, and management reviews;
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of governance checkpoint processes and project delivery standards
• Create and improve project management methodologies, templates, and governance concepts for emerging technologies, including Quantum Safe solutions
• Develop reusable project management assets, documentation, and best practices to support successful project delivery

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT Security, Business Informatics, or another technical field
• Interest or initial experience in project management and requirements analysis
• Ability to present technical solutions in customer-focused environments
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Fluent German and English (C1 level)

Preferred:

• Experience creating use cases or proof-of-concepts
• Experience using project management tools such as Monday.com or Microsoft Project
• Project-related experience gained through university studies or student employment
