You will work on challenging problems involving high-speed and high-voltage analog and mixed-signal circuit design that directly impact next-generation quantum systems.

Duties:

  • Own the full lifecycle of custom analog and mixed-signal ASIC designs, from specification to tested silicon.
  • Design, simulate, and verify high-performance circuits including transimpedance amplifiers and high-voltage drivers.
  • Lead layout, verification, and tape-out activities to prepare designs for production;
  • Plan and execute lab testing and characterization to validate designs against specifications.
  • Collaborate with photonics, packaging, and systems teams to solve system-level integration challenges.
  • Produce clear and high-quality technical documentation for designs and test results.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in analog or mixed-signal ASIC or IC design.
  • Proven experience taking complex designs from concept to silicon tested in a lab environment.
  • Strong background in high-speed (sub-10 ns) or high-voltage (50 V to 100 V) circuit design.
  • Experience working across multiple semiconductor process technologies such as CMOS, BiCMOS, BCD, SOI, or GaN.
  • Proficiency with industry-standard EDA tools, with Cadence strongly preferred;
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong communication skills and commitment to producing clear technical documentation.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with photodetectors, optical modulators, or photonic interface electronics.
  • Experience with RF analog, high-voltage SOI, or GaN processes.
  • PhD focused on advanced IC design topics;
  • Hands-on experience designing and verifying DAC architectures.

Benefits and Instructions:

  • Opportunity to work on technology that aims to solve real-world problems and change how computing is done.
