Software Dev. - Hardware Architecture Tooling

Job Description

Job Title: Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, deploy, and maintain software tooling, data management, and communication systems for hardware development
• Support quantum scientists in designing next-generation hardware architecture
• Develop and manage APIs for internal and external services;
• Maintain high-quality code through automated testing and code reviews
• Perform DevOps tasks including CI/CD pipeline management using GitHub Actions
• Work with technologies such as Python, Rust, Docker, cloud platforms, and databases

Qualifications:

• BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Math, or related field
• 4+ years of software development experience
• Strong knowledge of modern programming languages such as Python, Rust, or Go
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure;
• Understanding of software development practices like testing, Agile, and CI/CD
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver high-quality solutions

Preferred:

• Experience with AWS services such as DocumentDB, Lambda, API Gateway, or ECS
• Experience with Rust programming;
• Experience with ETL pipelines and data storage systems
• Front-end development experience, WebGL is a plus
• DevOps experience

Benefits and Compensation:

• Salary range of 110,000 to 140,000 CAD per year
