Job Description

Job Title: Software Developer - Systems Integrations Tooling. Location: Toronto, ON, Canada

Responsibilities:

• Design and build interactive graph visualization interfaces using React and WebGL
• Develop and maintain Python backend systems, including APIs and graph data models
• Optimize performance for large-scale datasets with millions of nodes and edges;
• Collaborate with quantum physicists and engineers to translate scientific needs into tools
• Ensure code quality through testing, CI/CD pipelines, and code reviews

Qualifications:

• BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 4+ years of software development experience
• Experience with React, Typescript, and modern frontend tools
• Strong knowledge of Python and backend development;
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Understanding of Agile, unit testing, and test-driven development
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred:

• Experience with graph visualization tools like NetworkX or rustworkx
• Knowledge of UI/UX or scientific interface design
• Experience with AWS services such as S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS
• Skills in performance optimization and benchmarking;
• Experience building frontend systems end-to-end
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure tools

Benefits and Compensation:

• Salary range: 120,000 to 150,000 CAD per year
