Developing error-protected quantum processors for scalable, real-world computing.
About
Peak Quantum is a Munich-based quantum computing company focused on building error-protected superconducting quantum processors. Instead of relying heavily on complex error correction systems, the company designs hardware that reduces errors directly at the qubit level. This helps create more efficient, scalable & cost-effective quantum computers, that can support real-world applications in industries like chemistry, logistics, security & optimization.
Started in 2024 as a spin-off from the Walther Meissner Institute and connected to Munich Quantum Valley, Peak Quantum combines research, chip design, manufacturing & system integration under one roof. In 2026, the company raised €2.2 million in preseed funding to expand its technology and build a European pilot production facility for superconducting quantum chips.
Key Highlights:
- Developing error-resilient superconducting quantum chips
