Job Description
Job Title: Senior Quantum Algorithm Researcher. Location: Remote, United Kingdom
Responsibilities:
- Lead technical collaborations with supercomputing centers on hybrid quantum-classical application development across multiple industries
- Drive research and innovation in AI for quantum algorithms
- Lead and execute collaborative projects with supercomputing centers, quantum hardware providers, and research partners
- Ensure project outcomes align with strategic objectives and customer success goals;
- Support business growth through technical engagement and innovative quantum computing solutions
- Publish impactful research and represent the organization at scientific, technical, and industry conferences
- Contribute to the advancement of quantum simulations, digital twins, and quantum computing applications
Qualifications:
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- More than 9 years of experience in quantum algorithms and quantum computing applications
- Demonstrated leadership in technical collaborations with industry partners;
- Strong programming skills in Python, C++, and parallel computing environments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
- Proven record of research excellence through publications and conference presentations
Preferred:
- Recognized expertise in the intersection of quantum computing and high-performance computing
- Experience with AI-driven approaches for quantum algorithm development;
- Experience with NVIDIA quantum technologies, including cuQuantum or CUDA-Q
- Experience working with large-scale quantum computing and simulation environments
