Quantum Process Integration Lead (BEOL)

Job Description

Job Title: Quantum Process Integration Lead (BEOL). Location: Delft, Netherlands

Responsibilities:

• Lead development of back-end fabrication and assembly technologies for quantum processors
• Improve flip-chip bonding, contact reliability, and manufacturability in chip stack architectures
• Define fabrication and process development projects and design experiments
• Coordinate integration test plans with cross-functional engineering teams;
• Establish scalable and well-documented integration procedures
• Investigate and resolve integration issues and technical anomalies;
• Support optimization and scaling of advanced quantum processor systems

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in chip assembly development in deep-tech or low-volume technology environments
• Hands-on experience with back-end process-flow development;
• Experience with UBM, hard-stops, bumps, detachable contacts, MEMS, and flip-chip technologies
• Background in physics, microwave/RF/electrical engineering, or related field
• Strong understanding of fabrication and assembly process integration

Preferred:

• Experience with superconducting qubits
• PhD in Physics, Engineering, or related discipline
• Experience working with scalable quantum hardware systems
