Senior Cryptography Engineer

Job Description

Job Title: Senior Cryptography Engineer. Location: Geneva, Switzerland

Responsibilities:

  • Implement reference models, optimized software, and test-vector infrastructure for ML-KEM, ML-DSA, and SLH-DSA/LMS
  • Develop constant-time implementations of cryptographic functions
  • Build known-answer tests and NIST ACVP test-vector tooling for verification and CAVP certification
  • Implement models in C, C++, Rust, and Python;
  • Contribute to hardware-friendly building blocks including Keccak, NTT, polynomial arithmetic, samplers, and encode/decode functions
  • Support RTL and firmware engineers with algorithm questions, debugging, and certification-oriented tooling
  • Evaluate third-party cryptographic libraries
  • Work with senior cryptography engineers on applied cryptography projects

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or higher in Cryptography, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience implementing cryptographic algorithms or security-critical software
  • Strong C, C++, or Rust development skills
  • Solid understanding of modern cryptographic primitives;
  • Understanding of constant-time implementation and its importance for security
  • Strong focus on correctness, readable code, and thorough testing
  • Fluency in English
  • French or German is an advantage

Preferred:

  • Experience with post-quantum cryptography, particularly lattice-based or hash-based schemes
  • Experience with NIST test-vector formats, CAVP, or ACVP
  • Experience developing certification-oriented cryptographic software
  • Strong interest in developing deep expertise in applied post-quantum cryptography
