Job Description

Job Title: Director of IT Enterprise Architecture - 723. Location: Broomfield, CO, US

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and own enterprise IT architecture, integration standards, and technology roadmaps across the company.
  • Drive IT maturity improvement, standardization, and lifecycle management to scale IT reliably.
  • Partner with senior leaders to align architecture with business goals and ensure secure, high-quality, integrated systems.
  • Establish architectural direction for AI/ML enablement, advanced data platforms, and hybrid compute workloads, balancing cost, performance, scalability, and security.
  • Facilitate executive-level tradeoff discussions and communicate business value of technology investments;
  • Rationalize technology footprint to reduce complexity, technical debt, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Lead architecture governance, review IT procurement plans, and guide software/platform selection.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of architects and engineers, promoting lean/agile delivery;
  • Deploy and maintain enterprise architecture repositories and communicate decisions to C-level audiences.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree minimum; advanced degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field preferred.
  • 10+ years leading enterprise IT architecture and software development.
  • Must be a U.S. Person; cannot be a national of China or Russia unless also a U.S. citizen due to national security requirements.
  • Proven ability to communicate with and influence executives and cross-functional teams;
  • Broad expertise across enterprise applications, platforms, integration, infrastructure, and security.
  • Experience with SaaS/COTS and enterprise platforms (Salesforce, Microsoft, ServiceNow, SAP, data analytics systems).
  • Knowledge of private/public cloud (AWS, Azure) and modern collaboration platforms;
  • Experience supporting AI/ML solutions, data-intensive platforms, and advanced compute architectures.
  • Familiarity with architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman) and governance standards.
  • Strong financial and strategic acumen for investment tradeoffs.
  • Relevant certifications (TOGAF, cloud architecture, security) preferred.

Preferred:

  • Demonstrated success in raising IT maturity through standardization, governance, lifecycle management, and process improvements.
  • Ability to establish reference architectures and operationalize patterns across applications, data, and infrastructure.
  • Strong systems thinking to link disparate components into actionable plans;
  • Experience documenting procedures and designing workflows for better supportability and user experience.

  • Salary: $224,000 - $280,000 per year (inclusive of bonus target)
