Job Description

Job Title: Multi-Qubit Measurement Engineer. Location: Delft, Netherlands

Job Type: Full-time, on-site (hybrid flexibility possible)

Responsibilities:

• Develop advanced measurement protocols to improve quantum gate and readout fidelities
• Perform tuning and characterization of large-scale QPUs using experimental benchmarking methods
• Design and execute experiments in collaboration with R&D teams;
• Convert measurement results into actionable feedback for hardware and engineering teams
• Lead full measurement campaigns from setup to analysis and reporting
• Improve tuning procedures and measurement repeatability across systems
• Work closely with product, R&D, and operations teams to support hardware scaling

Qualifications:

• Strong hands-on experience with superconducting multi-qubit systems
• Deep understanding of quantum device behavior and signal integrity challenges
• Proficiency in Python for quantum data analysis and experiments
• Experience with experimental quantum measurement and tuning workflows
• Strong problem-solving mindset with ability to take ownership of complex systems

Preferred:

• Experience with large-scale quantum processor benchmarking
• Background in quantum hardware development or device calibration
• Familiarity with advanced quantum measurement techniques;
• Experience working in cross-functional engineering environments
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills
