Job Description

Job Title: Multi-Qubit Measurement Engineer. Location: Delft, Netherlands

Job Type: Full-time, on-site (hybrid flexibility may apply)

Responsibilities:

• Develop advanced measurement protocols to improve gate and readout fidelities in quantum processors
• Perform performance characterization of large-scale multi-qubit systems
• Design and execute experiments to test and stretch device capabilities
• Convert experimental data into actionable engineering insights;
• Work closely with product, R&D, and operations teams
• Lead measurement campaigns from setup to final analysis and reporting
• Improve tuning procedures and measurement repeatability across systems

Qualifications:

• Extensive hands-on experience with superconducting multi-qubit processors
• Strong understanding of quantum device behavior and signal integrity challenges
• Proficiency in Python for quantum data analysis;
• Experience in experimental quantum hardware environments
• Strong problem-solving and ownership mindset

Preferred:

• Experience scaling quantum hardware systems
• Experience with benchmarking and quantum device characterization
• Familiarity with quantum measurement optimization techniques
• Experience working in cross-functional engineering teams
