Job Title: Senior Research Scientist, Neutral Atoms Control Electronics, Quantum AI. Location: Boulder, Colorado, USA

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy control electronics for neutral-atom quantum computers
• Lead board-level projects from concept through production and deployment
• Define electronic control system requirements with cross-functional engineering teams
• Design custom electronic systems for controlling neutral-atom quantum processors
• Support the testing, bring-up, and deployment of developed electronic systems;
• Collaborate with internal engineering teams and external vendors to deliver hardware solutions
• Contribute to research, experimentation, and the development of scalable quantum computing technologies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• At least 3 years of experience in analog, digital, or mixed-signal circuit design
• At least 3 years of experience designing printed circuit boards for analog or mixed-signal applications
• Experience leading engineering projects from concept through deployment;
• Experience managing external vendors
• Strong understanding of analog, mixed-signal, RF, and FPGA board-level design practices

Preferred:

• PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Experience developing quantum control systems for neutral-atom or trapped-ion quantum computers
• Expertise in analog and mixed-signal system design and deployment
• Experience with board-level architecture, validation, and system integration

• Annual salary of $174,000 to $253,000
