Job Title: Tech Lead - Cryptographic Asset Platform

Responsibilities:

• Build a cryptographic asset registry covering key and certificate inventory, lifecycle tracking, and interfaces for using cryptographic assets.
• Implement telemetry, audit evidence, and policy-based authorization for sensitive cryptographic material.
• Own signing flows end to end, including job type design, API and CLI interfaces, and customer-facing experiences;
• Support post-quantum cryptography in production signing through ML-DSA dual signing with HSM-backed keys, LMS software keys, and hybrid flows.
• Build agent-assisted self-service workflows while maintaining clear controls over where human involvement is required.
• Measure automation effectiveness through metrics such as deflection rate, time to first signature, and onboarding time.
• Provide technical leadership across technology, processes, and people as the platform develops.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent experience, in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience building and operating production software, including ownership of services with real availability requirements.
• Strong hands-on engineering experience with Python, Java, Go, or similar languages across the full stack of cloud services;
• Working knowledge of applied cryptography, including PKI, key management, digital signatures, and HSM-backed systems.
• Practical experience applying AI and agentic workflows to engineering problems.
• Strong written communication and proactive working habits.

Preferred:

• Hands-on experience with code signing, HSM-backed key management, or software supply chain security.
• Experience replacing ticket-driven processes with genuine self-service solutions.
• Interest in expanding into broader technical leadership responsibilities.

Benefits and Compensation:

• Base salary range of $184,000 to $287,500 for Level 4.
• Base salary range of $224,000 to $356,500 for Level 5.
• Eligibility for equity and benefits;
