Technical Product Marketing Manager

Job Description

Job Title: Technical Product Marketing Manager. Location: United States, Remote

Responsibilities:

• Partner with engineering and product leadership to inform product planning and align PennyLane's development roadmap with market demands.
• Define and refine core positioning and value propositions for PennyLane.
• Develop and scale multi-channel marketing campaigns targeting developers, students, and industry scientists.
• Conduct competitive analysis and SWOT evaluations across the quantum software ecosystem.
• Track market trends and identify key technical differentiators;
• Create technical assets including whitepapers, blogs, customer stories, and technical presentations.
• Represent Xanadu as a technical evangelist at industry events and analyst briefings.
• Measure product marketing performance, including platform adoption, developer engagement, and campaign contribution to revenue pipeline.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in technical product marketing, product management, or technical developer marketing within open-source software, cloud computing, AI/ML, or deep tech.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience partnering with software engineering teams on product planning, messaging, positioning, and competitive analysis.
• Proven ability to design marketing campaigns that attract customers and generate measurable sales or adoption pipeline.
• Experience taking technical products to market;
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, impactful content and hands-on demonstrations.
• Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional project management skills.

Preferred:

• Familiarity with quantum computing concepts, PennyLane, or classical ML frameworks.
• Experience launching and scaling open-source developer tooling or enterprise deep-tech platforms.
