Cloud Security Architecture Lead

Job Description

Job Title: Cloud Security Architecture Lead. Location: Remote, United States (California, Texas, North Carolina)

Responsibilities:

• Design and lead security architecture for global cloud and datacenter infrastructure
• Protect critical AI and GPU workloads from advanced cyber threats;
• Build secure frameworks across AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle, and private AI environments
• Implement network segmentation and SDN-based multi-tenant isolation strategies
• Develop zero-trust and identity-based security architectures
• Implement encryption and confidential computing solutions for sensitive AI workloads
• Lead security design for containerized and Kubernetes-based environments;
• Provide technical leadership and mentor security architects and engineers
• Drive architectural improvements across cloud security infrastructure

Qualifications:

• 15+ years of experience in security engineering or architecture
• Minimum 8 years in senior leadership roles
• Strong expertise in cloud-native security architectures;
• Deep understanding of workload identity and zero-trust access models
• Experience securing large-scale Kubernetes and containerized systems
• Ability to communicate complex security risks and technical trade-offs;
• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience

Preferred:

• Experience securing AI/ML infrastructure and GPU compute clusters
• Experience with hardware-rooted trust and secure provisioning pipelines;
• Strong background in post-quantum cryptography and applied cryptography
• Experience protecting distributed systems against emerging threats

• Base salary range: $272,000 to $431,250 annually
