Job Title: Cryogenic Operations Lab Generalist, Quantum AI. Location: Goleta, California, USA

Responsibilities:

• Assemble, install, and integrate electronic hardware and components into quantum computing systems
• Calibrate, test, and adjust instruments to meet performance specifications and quality standards;
• Conduct comprehensive electrical testing, including continuity checks and signal verification, to ensure system integrity
• Utilize electronic test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and network analyzers to troubleshoot issues
• Identify and report hardware, software, and networking issues at the component, module, and system level
• Perform scheduled maintenance and maintain accurate records of work performed

Qualifications:

• Experience in electronics assembly, system integration, and testing
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals;
• Experience with operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of cryogenic systems
• Experience interpreting and executing script-based software

Preferred:

• Associate’s degree or higher in Physics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Familiarity with network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and other RF test equipment;
• Proficiency in test automation and scripting languages such as Python, SQL, or MATLAB

Benefits and Compensation:

• Base salary $99,000–$140,000 per year, plus bonus, equity, and benefits
