Hardware Verification Engineer

Job Description

Job Title: ASIC Verification Engineer. Location: Bangalore, Karnataka, India

Responsibilities:

• Develop verification environments, testbenches, and test cases for ASIC and SoC designs
• Perform functional verification of processors and hardware systems
• Debug and resolve logic design issues in collaboration with design teams
• Ensure verification coverage and quality standards are met;
• Work with cross-functional teams to improve design reliability and performance
• Develop and execute test plans and verification strategies
• Analyze failures and perform debugging and triaging of issues

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
• 7+ years of experience in ASIC or processor verification
• Experience with IP blocks such as DDR, PCI, NAND, or AXI
• Strong knowledge of SystemVerilog, UVM/OVM, and verification methodologies
• Experience with HDLs such as Verilog or VHDL;
• Knowledge of SoC fabrics like AXI, AHB, ACE, or similar
• Experience with gate-level simulation and emulation
• Strong programming skills in C/C++ and scripting languages like Python or Perl
• Experience with Linux or Unix environments, Git, and CI/CD workflows

Preferred:

• Experience with high-speed SERDES and PHY verification
• Knowledge of computer architecture and microarchitecture
• Experience in IP integration and SoC-level verification
• Exposure to automation and stress testing techniques
• Ability to identify corner cases and improve verification coverage
