Project Manager - Finance

Job Description

Job Title: Project Manager - Finance. Location: Bedford, Nova Scotia, Canada

The position requires eligibility for Government of Canada Reliability Security Clearance and the ability to work in Canada without sponsorship.

Duties:

• Monitor and manage project finances, including accruals, budgets, forecasts, and invoicing.
• Ensure monthly financial cycle activities are completed on time, including forecast submissions in IPPF.
• Perform monthly revenue and cost reconciliation for actuals, forecasts, and price cases;
• Update weekly financial forecasts by working closely with project managers and stream leads.
• Analyze project financial health and assist teams in applying mitigation measures.
• Report financial status to account teams;
• Submit billing documents and ensure accuracy of financial reporting across all project activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Administration, or a related field.
• Eligible for Government of Canada Reliability Security Clearance.
• At least 2 to 3 years of experience in project financial management;
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Microsoft Office.
• Working knowledge of IPPF.
• Ability to work independently and within a team;
• Strong problem-solving, organization, planning, and prioritization skills.
• English and French speaking ability is preferred.
