Job Description

Job Title: Quantum Electrical Engineer - Systems Integration. Location: Kongens Lyngby, Copenhagen, Denmark

Job Type: Full-time (Hybrid, 3 days per week in office)

Responsibilities:

  • Lead cryogenic electrical characterization of quantum materials and devices at millikelvin temperatures and high magnetic fields
  • Develop and implement novel measurement techniques for topological qubit systems
  • Conduct large-scale experimental campaigns including data acquisition, analysis, and reporting;
  • Translate experimental findings into actionable recommendations for materials, fabrication processes, and device designs
  • Support the development of next-generation quantum architectures and pathfinding devices
  • Collaborate with materials science, nanofabrication, theory, and device design teams
  • Communicate complex technical results to cross-functional teams and leadership
  • Contribute to system integration, hardware validation, and performance troubleshooting

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physics, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Experience with electrical engineering design principles;
  • Experience with RF/microwave, electromagnetic, and circuit simulation tools such as Ansys or Cadence
  • Experience using measurement instruments including VNAs, spectrum analyzers, and oscilloscopes
  • Programming experience with Python
  • Ability to pass required security and background screening requirements
  • Ability to work effectively in an AI-first engineering environment

Preferred:

  • Experience with low-noise electronic measurements and cryogenic systems, including dilution refrigerators or He3 cryostats
  • Experience with electrical transport characterization of semiconductors, superconductors, or dielectric materials
  • Experience with RF and microwave measurement techniques;
  • Experience with analog and digital circuit design
  • Experience with digital signal processing
  • Experience using version control systems such as Git
  • Familiarity with verification, validation, and qualification processes
  • Experience with cryogenic RF components, filters, attenuators, connectors, and cabling
  • Experience working with superconducting, semiconductor, or quantum information processing devices
  • Experience with engineering project management and technical documentation;
  • Experience designing and prototyping RF devices and printed circuit boards (PCBs)
  • Understanding of manufacturing tolerances and system variability

  • Travel requirement is less than 25%
