Job Description

Job Title: Software Engineer, Compiling, Quantum AI. Location:Mountain View, California, Los Angeles, California, Goleta, California, USA

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement software for compiling logical quantum computations into low-level executable programs
• Develop systems that enable fault-tolerant quantum computations
• Collaborate with software, electronics, and hardware engineering teams
• Integrate quantum compiler technologies into the qubit control stack;
• Work with researchers on experimental quantum computing implementations
• Improve software engineering practices and maintain robust code quality for Quantum Error Correction (QEC) software

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 3+ years of experience with C++ and Python
• Experience designing and developing software systems;
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles and scalable systems

Preferred:

• Experience developing compilers or compiler architectures
• Knowledge of logic synthesis and optimization techniques
• Experience with HPC, real-time computing, concurrency, hardware acceleration, or scientific computing
• Experience with graph algorithms and weighted perfect matching;
• Familiarity with FPGA, DSP, or GPU programming
• Knowledge of quantum computing, quantum error correction, or classical coding theory

Benefits And Compensation:

• Base salary range: $147,000 to $211,000 annually
