AI Foundations - Research Engineer

Job Description

Job Title: AI Foundations - Research Engineer. Location: Bangalore, Karnataka, India

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy server-side applications using languages such as Python, Java, Ruby, and Node.js
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and web services for efficient data exchange
• Design and implement databases following security and industry standards;
• Develop AI solutions in machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver backend systems
• Work in agile environments across full-stack AI research and engineering

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Experience with backend development and server-side programming;
• Strong understanding of AI/ML fundamentals including neural networks and NLP
• Experience with database design and SQL-based systems
• Familiarity with REST API design and integration

Preferred:

• Exposure to brain-inspired algorithms and knowledge representation systems
• Experience with symbolic AI, causal inference, and computer vision
• Interest in quantum and neuromorphic computing architectures
• Ability to explore advanced AI research concepts and apply them in practice
