Job Description

Job Title: Electronics Engineer. Location: Delft, Netherlands

Job Type: Full-time, on-site (hybrid flexibility may apply)

Responsibilities:

• Develop, optimize, and maintain automated test systems for quantum hardware and subcomponents
• Increase test coverage and throughput for R&D devices
• Design scalable quality control frameworks for next-generation quantum processors
• Support engineering teams with software integration and automation tasks;
• Collaborate with stakeholders to tailor test systems for advanced quantum devices
• Ensure reliability and performance of experimental quantum hardware through structured testing

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Experience in electronic system design and hardware interfacing
• Proven experience in test automation and automated test system development
• Strong programming experience in Python or similar scripting languages;
• Ability to work in fast-paced R&D environments with complex hardware systems

Preferred:

• Experience with quantum hardware or experimental physics setups
• Familiarity with measurement systems used in quantum devices
• Experience scaling test frameworks for complex or large systems;
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills in technical teams
• Experience working in multidisciplinary engineering environments
