IT SAP Manager

Job Description

Job Title: IT SAP Manager. Location: Broomfield, Colorado, USA / Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, USA

Job Type: Full-time, Hybrid (Remote up to 2 days per week with approval)

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and mentor a team of SAP administrators, architects, consultants, and external partners
  • Build and expand the SAP team by identifying required roles and specialties
  • Develop and execute the enterprise-wide SAP strategy and roadmap aligned with business goals
  • Coordinate with business units, architects, and program managers to define project priorities
  • Conduct regular team meetings to monitor project progress and resolve issues
  • Provide technical and business guidance to the SAP team;
  • Improve agile development, support, and change management processes
  • Define and monitor team performance metrics
  • Develop security controls, financial controls, compliance procedures, and audit processes
  • Oversee implementation, maintenance, upgrades, patches, stability, and security of SAP modules and related software
  • Manage SAP vendors, contracts, budgets, and external service providers
  • Travel up to 10% as required

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum 8 years of SAP and ERP implementation and support experience with leadership responsibility
  • Minimum 5 years supporting SAP modules including FICO, MM, SD, PP, and PLM
  • Experience leading SAP teams and enterprise ERP projects;
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, green card holder, or eligible protected status holder due to contractual requirements
  • Candidates must not be nationals of the People's Republic of China or Russia unless also a U.S. citizen

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • SAP certifications in relevant modules
  • Enterprise-level experience designing, implementing, and supporting SAP applications
  • Experience leading technology migrations, organizational change, and process improvements
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing, finance, supply chain, or HR business processes
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills;
  • Experience documenting procedures and improving operational workflows
  • Experience working in a technology startup environment
  • Strong organizational, presentation, and time management skills
  • Ability to mentor teams and adapt in a fast-paced environment

  • Annual salary of $156,000 to $196,000, including bonus target eligibility
