Quantum Hardware Assembly Engineer

Job Description

Job Title: Quantum Hardware Assembly Engineer. Location: Delft, Netherlands

Responsibilities:

• Perform precision quantum hardware assembly, including soldering, electrical testing, wirebonding, and component integration
• Ensure quality assurance by verifying components meet technical specifications before shipment
• Support prototype development in collaboration with R&D and engineering teams;
• Improve and standardize assembly workflows through troubleshooting and process optimization
• Manage component supply chain including sourcing, procurement, and inventory control
• Coordinate logistics for shipping and documentation for international deliveries

Qualifications:

• Experience in assembly, soldering, PCB work, or wirebonding processes
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage operational tasks;
• Experience working with task management systems such as Jira or inventory systems
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken

Preferred:

• Technical or engineering degree (MBO or HBO preferred)
• Strong communication skills and cross-team collaboration ability
• Interest in supply chain optimization and scaling production systems
• Ability to provide and receive constructive feedback in team environments
