Quantum Hardware Assembly Engineer

Job Description

Job Title: Quantum Hardware Assembly Engineer. Location: Delft, Netherlands

Responsibilities:

  • Perform precision quantum hardware assembly, including soldering, electrical checks, wirebonding, and component integration
  • Ensure all assembled components meet quality standards before delivery
  • Support prototype development in collaboration with engineering and R&D teams
  • Standardize, improve, troubleshoot, and automate assembly workflows;
  • Manage component supply, including supplier selection, procurement, and inventory
  • Coordinate logistics, shipping preparation, and documentation for domestic and international deliveries

Qualifications:

  • Experience with assembly, soldering, PCB work, or wirebonding
  • Hands-on approach with strong problem-solving ability;
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with experience managing tasks and inventory systems
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken

Preferred:

  • Technical or engineering degree (MBO or HBO preferred)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
  • Interest in supply chain optimization and scaling production;
  • Open and transparent feedback style with willingness to engage in discussions
