Job Description
Job Title: Quantum Hardware Assembly Engineer. Location: Delft, Netherlands
Responsibilities:
- Perform precision quantum hardware assembly, including soldering, electrical testing, wirebonding, and component integration
- Ensure quality assurance by verifying components meet technical specifications before shipment
- Support prototype development in collaboration with R&D and engineering teams;
- Improve and standardize assembly workflows through troubleshooting and process optimization
- Manage component supply chain including sourcing, procurement, and inventory control
- Coordinate logistics for shipping and documentation for international deliveries
Qualifications:
- Experience in assembly, soldering, PCB work, or wirebonding processes
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage operational tasks;
- Experience working with task management systems such as Jira or inventory systems
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
Preferred:
- Technical or engineering degree (MBO or HBO preferred)
- Strong communication skills and cross-team collaboration ability
- Interest in supply chain optimization and scaling production systems
- Ability to provide and receive constructive feedback in team environments
