Job Description
Job Title: Quantum Hardware Assembly Engineer. Location: Delft, Netherlands
Responsibilities:
- Perform precision quantum hardware assembly, including soldering, electrical checks, wirebonding, and component integration
- Ensure all assembled components meet quality standards before delivery
- Support prototype development in collaboration with engineering and R&D teams
- Standardize, improve, troubleshoot, and automate assembly workflows;
- Manage component supply, including supplier selection, procurement, and inventory
- Coordinate logistics, shipping preparation, and documentation for domestic and international deliveries
Qualifications:
- Experience with assembly, soldering, PCB work, or wirebonding
- Hands-on approach with strong problem-solving ability;
- Organized and detail-oriented, with experience managing tasks and inventory systems
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
Preferred:
- Technical or engineering degree (MBO or HBO preferred)
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
- Interest in supply chain optimization and scaling production;
- Open and transparent feedback style with willingness to engage in discussions
