Job Description

Job Title: Quantum Machine Learning Researcher. Location: Remote, Toronto, ON, Canada

You will contribute to high-impact research, produce quality publications, & stay closely connected with the global scientific community.

Duties:

• Conduct research at the intersection of quantum computing and machine learning.
• Develop and test quantum algorithms for learning tasks;
• Collaborate with scientists and software developers to implement experimental demonstrations.
• Produce high-quality papers and presentations on relevant research topics.
• Monitor advancements in quantum computing and machine learning and integrate findings into research.
• Work independently and in interdisciplinary teams to solve challenging problems;
• Critically evaluate assumptions and explore innovative approaches in your research.

Qualifications:

• PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Data Science, or a related field.
• Proven research track record demonstrated through peer-reviewed publications and presentations.
• Strong understanding of machine learning theory and practical experience training models;
• Solid knowledge of quantum computing and quantum theory, with some experience using quantum software.
• Proficiency in Python or other programming languages;
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple research projects in a fast-paced environment.
