Job Description

Job Title: Internship Opportunities with Quantinuum 2025 - UK/Germany. Location: UK – London, Cambridge, or Oxford / Germany – Munich

Interns will work on real-world projects in quantum software development, chemistry, machine learning, algorithms, cybersecurity & hardware, contributing to cutting-edge advancements in quantum technology.

Duties:

• Participate in research and development projects within quantum computing, quantum chemistry, and related domains.
• Collaborate with scientists and engineers on client-focused or internal projects;
• Support tasks involving quantum algorithm development or quantum hardware optimization;
• Contribute to ongoing collaborations that may lead to permanent opportunities after internship completion.
• Engage with project teams across Europe to advance Quantinuum’s integrated quantum technologies.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Master’s or PhD in Physics, Computer Science, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong interest and background in quantum computing or adjacent technologies;
• Familiarity with quantum programming frameworks such as Qiskit or similar tools.
• Understanding of machine learning, chemistry simulations, or superconducting or trapped-ion hardware systems is an advantage.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of collaborative research teams;
• Must meet eligibility requirements for working in the UK or Germany.
