Job Description

Job Title: Deep Learning Algorithm Engineering Intern - 2026. Location: Zurich Switzerland, Munich Germany, Warsaw Poland - Remote/Onsite

This role focuses on research, development, and optimization of algorithms for data analytics, scientific computing, and machine learning; Interns will collaborate with academic and commercial partners to implement high-performance software used worldwide.

Duties:

• Research, analyze, and document state-of-the-art deep learning algorithms.
• Design and implement frameworks for model optimization and algorithm performance;
• Develop algorithms for deep learning, data analytics, and scientific computing applications.
• Benchmark GPU implementations and analyze performance across training and inference scenarios.
• Evaluate capabilities of cutting-edge models and incorporate findings into development;
• Collaborate with internal partners, users, and open source community members.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Applied Math, or related field.
• Strong Python programming skills, including debugging, performance analysis, and test design.
• Solid foundation in algorithms and mathematics relevant to machine learning and AI;
• Understanding of deep learning fundamentals and framework implementation.
• Ability to work independently and manage personal development projects.
• Good communication, documentation, and collaboration skills;
• Preferred: experience with PyTorch, deep learning frameworks, large language models, model compression techniques, and CPU/GPU architecture knowledge.
