Job Description
Job Title: Principal Quantum Measurement Engineer. Location: Copenhagen, Denmark
Job Type: Full-time, on-site hybrid (3 days per week in office)
Responsibilities:
- Develop and run qubit experiments to improve quantum system performance
- Identify innovation opportunities across quantum hardware and measurement systems
- Collaborate with hardware, software, and algorithm teams;
- Apply advanced quantum measurement techniques for device optimization
- Lead large-scale data collection, statistical analysis, and reporting
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Physics, Engineering, or related field
- Industry or research and development experience in quantum or applied physics
- Experience in experimental quantum systems or qubit measurement work
- Ability to work with security screening and export control requirements;
- Ability to use AI tools for research, automation, and analysis workflows
Preferred:
- Experience with superconducting, spin, or trapped-ion qubit systems
- Programming experience in Python or MATLAB
- Experience with RF reflectometry and qubit control techniques;
- Experience in QCVV (quantum characterization, verification, validation)
- Experience with multi-qubit system operation and calibration
- Exposure to AI/ML for quantum optimization tasks
