Job Description

Job Title: Senior Quantum Systems Engineer - Quantum Computing. Location: US, CA, Remote. US, CA, Santa Clara, WA, Redmond

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with internal product, research, and engineering teams as well as external partners to define system requirements for fault-tolerant quantum computing
• Develop novel approaches for real-time quantum error correction and calibration across multiple qubit modalities using systems analysis
• Translate product requirements into technical requirements spanning hardware, software, and firmware
• Develop and review test cases to ensure correctness and completeness of technical implementations;
• Maintain a culture of collaboration, rapid innovation, technical depth, and creative problem solving

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or related field, or equivalent experience; higher degrees welcome
• 5+ years of experience in engineering complex hardware and software systems
• Hands-on experience with real qubits and quantum control systems software;
• Strong motivation to drive technology innovations in software and hardware for Quantum Computing

Preferred:

• Experience designing quantum control systems, including communication and networking
• Development experience in real-time systems and embedded software
• Knowledge of quantum computer benchmarking methods
• Experience with AI/ML techniques;
• Familiarity with CUDA and NVIDIA GPUs

Benefits:

• Base salary ranges from $152,000–$218,500 (Level 3) and $184,000–$287,500 (Level 4) depending on location and experience
• Eligible for equity and other benefits
