Senior Software Engineer

Job Description

Job Title: Senior Software Engineer. Location: Cambridge, UK

You will own the technical direction of docs.quantinuum.com while also contributing to data analytics pipelines that support product, business, and leadership decisions; The position blends frontend engineering, data workflows, and close collaboration across teams.

Duties:

• Own the technical vision and long-term roadmap for Quantinuum’s documentation website.
• Design, build, and maintain a high-performance documentation platform using modern frontend technologies.
• Develop reusable UI components and ensure consistent design across the site;
• Integrate content from markdown-based or headless CMS systems.
• Optimize performance, accessibility, and SEO to improve user experience.
• Track and report key documentation KPIs such as traffic, search success, and usage patterns.
• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines that support analytics, reporting, and operational insights.
• Translate business and product needs into reliable data models;
• Collaborate with software, hardware, product, documentation, and business teams.
• Participate in code reviews, CI/CD workflows, and quality assurance processes.
• Present roadmap updates, UI changes, and insights to internal stakeholders.
• Support dashboards and reports used by leadership teams.
• Travel occasionally, up to 10 percent.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 years of experience delivering production-grade software.
• Strong experience with frontend development, especially React;
• Experience building or maintaining data pipelines or analytics workflows.
• Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, accessibility standards, and Git workflows.
• Ability to translate user needs into technical solutions and clear priorities.
• Due to national security requirements, candidates must not be PRC or Russian nationals unless also US or UK citizens.
