SiView Asset Development Leader

Job Description

Job Title: SiView Asset Development Leader. Location: Kyoto, Kyoto, Japan

Responsibilities:

• Guide clients through Industry 4.0 strategies, leveraging AI and IoT technologies to enhance productivity and accelerate digital transformation
• Analyze client data, formulate hypotheses, and test conclusions to determine the best solutions for manufacturing operations;
• Develop cloud-based digital floor solutions, applying machine learning and data-driven insights to optimize throughput, yield, and production processes
• Lead a team to create the SiView roadmap and development plan for the semiconductor manufacturing industry
• Manage team members across IBM Research - Semiconductors and IJDS, IBM Japan
• Collaborate with clients to deliver solutions that meet business needs, integrating emerging technologies successfully

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Proven experience guiding clients through Industry 4.0 strategies in manufacturing
• Strong consulting skills including data analysis, hypothesis testing, and solution formulation
• Knowledge of AI, IoT, and Watson assets and their integration into manufacturing operations
• Experience developing cloud-based digital solutions leveraging machine learning;
• In-depth understanding of manufacturing operations and production optimization
• HR management experience for team leadership
• Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing industry, including Manufacturing Execution Systems (SiView)

Preferred:

• Experience with advanced cloud-based digital solutions
• Expertise in AI and IoT integration for manufacturing;
• Strong data analysis and machine learning application skills
