Sourcer/ Recruitment Coordinator

Job Description

Job Title: Sourcer / Recruitment Coordinator. Location: British Columbia, Canada

Responsibilities:

• Source candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter and other platforms based on role briefs and target profiles
• Build and refine Boolean search strings to identify relevant talent
• Conduct deep research to identify prospects beyond inbound applicants, including competitor mapping, labs, and niche communities
• Generate well-calibrated shortlists with notes on candidate fit, motivation signals, and potential risks
• Maintain and refresh talent pipelines and identify new sourcing channels, including professional networks, conferences, and job boards
• Draft and send outreach messages, track response rates, and maintain organized prospect lists;
• Support talent mapping for hard-to-fill roles and maintain relationships with universities, research labs, and academic professionals
• Prepare and post job descriptions on ATS and job boards with accurate formatting
• Assist with offer documentation, job administration, and reference checks
• Maintain accurate candidate records and activity notes in the ATS for reporting and compliance

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience as a Talent Sourcer, Sourcing Specialist, Recruiting Coordinator, or similar role with sourcing experience
• Strong Boolean search capability and experience building and iterating search strings efficiently
• Hands-on experience sourcing through LinkedIn Recruiter or similar platforms;
• Strong written communication skills and attention to detail in candidate notes, messaging, and ATS data
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple requests and shifting priorities
• Keen interest in building a career in People and Culture

Preferred:

• Experience sourcing for technical or niche roles in engineering, hardware, or research-heavy domains
• Familiarity with maintaining talent pools in an ATS and keeping pipelines active over time;
• Ability to translate intake notes into effective sourcing strategies

• Base salary CAD $60,000 – $82,500 per year
