Job Title: Techniker - Chip & Hardware Test. Location: Ehningen, Baden-Württemberg, Germany

The role of Techniker - Chip & Hardware Test offers a chance to contribute to the next generation of computing technologies while collaborating with international teams across the USA, Israel, and India.

Duties:

• Support the prototyping and testing of printed circuit boards, modules, and quantum hardware components.
• Prepare, inspect, and handle wafers, modules, and boards using specialized lab tools.
• Perform soldering of electronic components for test setups and prototypes;
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring reliable test results.
• Assist in the testing and validation of wafers and chips in a modern laboratory.
• Manage logistics of components and laboratory equipment;
• Provide basic IT administration within the test lab environment.

Qualifications:

• Completed technician or vocational training in IT, electronics, or hardware engineering.
• Practical experience in electronics and soldering for circuit boards;
• Basic programming or scripting knowledge (such as Python or C++) is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
• Independent, careful, and structured work style;
• Interest in cutting-edge technology, especially in quantum hardware testing and control systems.
