CPU/Processor Verification – Core Execution

Job Description

Job Title: CPU/Processor Verification – Core Execution Unit Lead. Location: Bangalore, Karnataka, India

Responsibilities:

• Lead pre-silicon functional verification and performance validation of CPU execution units
• Architect and enhance verification environments for processor core systems
• Develop detailed test plans covering functionality, performance, and coverage closure
• Support system-level simulation and verification workflows;
• Participate in post-silicon bring-up and hardware validation
• Mentor and guide engineering teams while representing them in global forums
• Document verification processes and environments for continuous improvement
• Communicate progress, risks, and milestones to stakeholders

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or related field
• 10+ years of experience in CPU verification and processor architecture
• Strong understanding of vector, scalar, and SIMD execution units;
• Expertise in computer architecture, including out-of-order and multi-threaded systems
• Experience with instruction pipelines, ISA, and high-frequency processor design
• Hands-on experience in processor silicon bring-up
• Proficiency in C++ and Python or similar programming languages

Preferred:

• Knowledge of instruction fetch, branching, stalls, and arithmetic units
• Experience with ISA-based test generation and verification methodologies
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps development practices;
• Experience with system-level verification and coverage techniques
