Job Description

Job Title: Electrotechnicien. Location: Bromont, Quebec, Canada

This onsite night-shift role is part of IBM’s Infrastructure team and plays a key role in maintaining safe, stable, and efficient manufacturing operations in Bromont, Quebec.

Duties:

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair complex electronic and electromechanical equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot failures to ensure high equipment uptime.
• Diagnose technical issues and apply corrective actions independently or with a multidisciplinary team.
• Contribute directly to operational performance, reliability, and continuous improvement;
• Follow strict safety, quality, and documentation procedures in a controlled environment.
• Handle equipment and technologies subject to controlled goods regulations.

Qualifications:

• Technical Diploma (DEP) in Automated Systems Electromechanics or a closely related field.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to solve technical problems efficiently;
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team setting.
• Motivation to grow skills and build a long-term career at IBM.
• Relevant technical diploma with practical experience is preferred.
