Job Description

Job Title: Head of Global Talent Acquisition. Location: Remote, United States

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a global talent acquisition strategy aligned with business goals and long-term workforce planning.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the CHRO and executive leadership on hiring strategy, talent market trends, and workforce planning.
  • Build and lead a high-performing global talent acquisition team, including recruiters, sourcers, and operations professionals.
  • Lead hiring for highly specialized roles such as quantum scientists, hardware and software engineers, AI/ML experts, and corporate business functions.
  • Design scalable hiring models to support rapid global growth while maintaining quality, speed, and a strong candidate experience.
  • Partner closely with R&D and technical leaders to understand evolving skill needs in quantum computing, hardware, and software.
  • Develop proactive sourcing strategies to build diverse and global talent pipelines;
  • Create and manage a full lifecycle university recruiting strategy, including internships and early-career hiring.
  • Build strategic partnerships with colleges and universities to strengthen the long-term talent pipeline.
  • Manage university recruiting budgets, forecasting, and vendor relationships.
  • Strengthen and promote the company’s global employer brand within the deep-tech ecosystem.
  • Ensure an inclusive and consistent candidate experience from first contact to onboarding;
  • Establish best-in-class recruiting processes, systems, and governance, including ATS optimization and recruiting technology adoption.
  • Track and analyze hiring metrics such as time-to-hire, quality of hire, diversity outcomes, and cost efficiency.
  • Use data and market insights to improve hiring performance and support executive decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 12+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, including leadership of global or multi-regional teams.
  • Proven success scaling recruiting in high-growth and technically complex environments.
  • Experience leading University Relations and early-career programs;
  • Strong understanding of global labor markets, employment practices, and compliance.
  • Demonstrated ability to build data-driven and scalable recruiting organizations.
  • Ability to operate effectively in competitive and fast-evolving technical markets.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills;
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • Flexible and willing to take on additional responsibilities as business needs evolve.
