Job Title: Head of Global Talent Acquisition. Location: Remote, United States
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a global talent acquisition strategy aligned with business goals and long-term workforce planning.
- Act as a trusted advisor to the CHRO and executive leadership on hiring strategy, talent market trends, and workforce planning.
- Build and lead a high-performing global talent acquisition team, including recruiters, sourcers, and operations professionals.
- Lead hiring for highly specialized roles such as quantum scientists, hardware and software engineers, AI/ML experts, and corporate business functions.
- Design scalable hiring models to support rapid global growth while maintaining quality, speed, and a strong candidate experience.
- Partner closely with R&D and technical leaders to understand evolving skill needs in quantum computing, hardware, and software.
- Develop proactive sourcing strategies to build diverse and global talent pipelines;
- Create and manage a full lifecycle university recruiting strategy, including internships and early-career hiring.
- Build strategic partnerships with colleges and universities to strengthen the long-term talent pipeline.
- Manage university recruiting budgets, forecasting, and vendor relationships.
- Strengthen and promote the company’s global employer brand within the deep-tech ecosystem.
- Ensure an inclusive and consistent candidate experience from first contact to onboarding;
- Establish best-in-class recruiting processes, systems, and governance, including ATS optimization and recruiting technology adoption.
- Track and analyze hiring metrics such as time-to-hire, quality of hire, diversity outcomes, and cost efficiency.
- Use data and market insights to improve hiring performance and support executive decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- 12+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, including leadership of global or multi-regional teams.
- Proven success scaling recruiting in high-growth and technically complex environments.
- Experience leading University Relations and early-career programs;
- Strong understanding of global labor markets, employment practices, and compliance.
- Demonstrated ability to build data-driven and scalable recruiting organizations.
- Ability to operate effectively in competitive and fast-evolving technical markets.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills;
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
- Flexible and willing to take on additional responsibilities as business needs evolve.
