Job Description

Job Title: Business Operations Associate/Manager European Market Development. Location: Berlin, Germany; Brisbane, Australia; Daresbury, United Kingdom

This role sits at the center of grant funding, market research, and program delivery, helping PsiQuantum scale its fault-tolerant quantum systems across Europe and the UK; You will work closely with internal teams, government bodies, and industry partners to drive funding success and operational execution.

Duties:

• Identify and qualify EU and UK funding opportunities such as Horizon Europe, EIC, Chips JU, Innovate UK, and national programs.
• Draft and coordinate high-quality grant submissions, including needs statements, work plans, impact sections, and budget narratives.
• Manage the full grant lifecycle from submission to post-award reporting, compliance, and stakeholder updates;
• Prepare briefing materials, meeting agendas, talking points, and follow-ups for public and private engagements.
• Maintain pipelines, trackers, and CRMs for grants, partnerships, and contracts;
• Conduct market and policy research across key European regions and produce clear decision memos.
• Support light contracting workflows including NDAs, MOUs, statements of work, and grant subcontracts.

Qualifications:

• 2 to 5 years of experience in strategy, operations, consulting, grants management, public affairs, or program delivery roles.
• Strong writing and structuring skills with the ability to manage cross-functional timelines.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders in government, industry, or research environments.
• Familiarity with EU and UK funding programs and basic public procurement is preferred;
• Background in deep-tech, R&D, or a STEM-related degree is a plus.
• Additional European language skills are an advantage.
