Job Description
Job Title: Sr. Director, Offering Management – Quantum Developer Platform. Location: London or Cambridge, United Kingdom
Responsibilities:
- Define and execute the long-term strategy for the quantum developer platform aligned with business and technology objectives
- Identify platform capabilities required to support future workloads, applications, and hardware generations
- Make build, buy, or partner decisions for platform components;
- Define and monitor KPIs for platform adoption and developer productivity
- Translate emerging technologies, including AI, cloud-native computing, and edge computing, into platform investments
- Develop monetization, packaging, and pricing strategies for platform offerings
- Build business cases for large-scale infrastructure and platform investments
- Improve the end-to-end developer experience through better onboarding, APIs, SDKs, documentation, debugging tools, and support
- Analyze developer feedback, customer surveys, analytics, and support data to remove adoption barriers
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design scalable, resilient platform architectures;
- Represent the platform internally and externally while translating market needs into product requirements
- Develop strategies to grow the developer ecosystem through education, partnerships, and community engagement
- Work closely with engineering, sales, finance, legal, product, customer support, and program management teams to deliver platform milestones and roadmap objectives
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field
- 15+ years of experience in product or offering management for developer platforms, cloud services, HPC, or advanced computing systems
- Strong understanding of developer platforms, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise software products
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
Preferred:
- Experience with HPC, accelerator-based platforms, scientific computing, simulation environments, or cloud computing platforms
- Knowledge of quantum computing is preferred but not required
- Ability to bridge quantum computing, software engineering, and product strategy
- Experience leading global product teams and influencing cross-functional organizations
- Experience balancing strategic leadership with hands-on execution;
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in ambiguous environments
- High emotional intelligence and leadership skills under pressure
