Lead Integration Engineer

Job Description

Job Title: Lead Integration Engineer. Location: Huntsville, Alabama, USA

Responsibilities:

• Lead integration engineering efforts for quantum sensing systems used in navigation and field applications
• Ensure reliable operation of complex hardware and software subsystems across full system stacks;
• Plan and execute integration activities, lab testing, and field trials with full documentation and traceability
• Define engineering standards, processes, and tools for scalable system integration
• Manage system validation across electronics, optics, mechanics, and software components
• Lead team operations including mentorship, planning, and execution oversight;
• Coordinate with global teams and external partners for system deployment
• Support procurement, supplier coordination, and prototype development activities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or related field
• Experience in systems engineering, integration, or validation of complex hardware/software systems
• Experience in aerospace, defense, or advanced sensing environments preferred
• Strong communication skills with technical and cross-functional teams;
• Experience with field trials, testing, and system deployment processes
• Knowledge of engineering documentation and configuration management practices

Preferred:

• Experience with aerospace quality systems and certification processes
• Experience leading autonomous field testing or flight testing programs
• Familiarity with tools like Jira and Confluence;
• Experience working with multi-disciplinary engineering teams
• Exposure to quantum sensing or precision measurement systems
