Job Description
Job Title: Senior Math Libraries Engineer, Post Quantum Cryptography. Location: Remote – Germany, Switzerland
You will contribute to cuPQC SDK development, enabling secure and efficient cryptography across edge devices and data center platforms.
Duties:
- Develop and optimize scalable cryptographic primitives and algorithms for modern GPU architectures.
- Design software architectures that are robust across multiple hardware generations;
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to meet feature and performance requirements.
- Contribute to API design, documentation, and developer experience for the cuPQC SDK;
- Implement high-performance libraries suitable for low-latency or high-throughput environments.
- Apply mathematical foundations and algorithmic knowledge to optimize cryptography solutions.
Qualifications:
- PhD or MSc in Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in software design and development for cryptography.
- Strong foundation in mathematics relevant to cryptography;
- Advanced C++ skills, including modern programming paradigms.
- Experience with GPU computing and CUDA C++ is a plus;
- Familiarity with software automation, build systems (e.g., cmake), and testing frameworks (CI/CD).
- Knowledge of cryptographic algorithms including lattice-based cryptography, finite field arithmetic, and hash functions.
