Job Description

Job Title: Senior Systems Software Security Engineer – Data Center Systems. Location: Colorado, US - Remote

This role focuses on building and delivering system-level security for large-scale server platforms, with strong emphasis on Root of Trust, firmware security and industry security standards; You will work across teams to protect NVIDIA’s data center infrastructure as it scales globally.

Duties:

• Design, implement, and deliver security features for NVIDIA data center systems.
• Develop Root of Trust solutions for secure boot, attestation, recovery, and out-of-band management.
• Build and maintain secure firmware and system software for enterprise server platforms;
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deploy security solutions at scale.
• Apply industry standards such as OpenBMC, UEFI, TCG DICE, SPDM, PLDM, Redfish, and NIST guidelines.
• Contribute to threat modeling, testing, code reviews, and secure CI/CD pipelines;
• Support end-to-end delivery of secure enterprise servers from design to customer deployment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in software and firmware security engineering;
• Strong understanding of core security principles and secure system design.
• Experience with Python, scripting, and system-level programming.
• Familiarity with modern server architectures and large-scale data center environments;
• Experience with secure development practices such as threat modeling, testing, and incident response.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in remote, cross-functional teams.

Benefits and Instructions:

• Base salary range: $148,000–$235,750 (Level 3) or $184,000–$287,500 (Level 4), based on location and experience.
