System Software Engineer - Cryptographic

Job Description

Job Title: System Software Engineer - Secure Cryptographic Services. Location: Pune, Bengaluru - India

Responsibilities:

  • Architect and lead enterprise-wide strategy for cryptographic integrity and software supply chain security across CPU, GPU, and networking ecosystems.
  • Design and implement a cloud-agnostic, hyper-scale signing and PKI infrastructure using hybrid cloud models including private cloud and public cloud platforms.
  • Define architecture and governance for advanced key management, including Post-Quantum Cryptography readiness and automated credential rotation supported by HSM-based roots of trust;
  • Develop high-assurance cryptographic ceremonies and transparency logging systems to create a tamper-evident chain of custody for software, firmware, and AI model artifacts.
  • Build scalable, self-service cryptographic platforms that improve developer experience and support thousands of engineers globally.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to standardize and unify security practices across hardware and software systems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10+ years of experience designing and implementing cryptographic automation and secure software solutions.
  • Strong understanding of cryptographic algorithms including hashing, digital signing, certificate creation, and secure key management.
  • Knowledge of authentication and authorization systems such as SSO, SAML, RBAC, and IAM frameworks;
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or .NET.
  • Experience developing cryptographic applications in semiconductor or chip-focused organizations and working with PKI systems.

Preferred:

  • Experience with AWS or other major cloud service providers and building high-throughput distributed services.
  • Technical leadership experience in cryptographic key and certificate management platforms.
  • Familiarity with Java, Python, Go, or .NET beyond core requirements.
  • Experience with threat modeling tools and security risk analysis practices;
  • Background in infrastructure and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes, Terraform, GitOps, and exposure to cloud platforms like GCP, Azure, or OCI.
