Job Title: Payments Platform Architect. Location: Hamilton, Markham, Toronto, Montreal, Quebec, Ontario, Canada
This role focuses on integrating quantum-safe architectures, AI-enhanced operations, and cloud-native solutions to deliver secure, compliant, and scalable systems; You will guide clients through digital transformation, ensuring operational efficiency, resilience, and alignment with regulatory requirements.
Duties:
- Architect and deploy hybrid, multi-cloud, and cloud-native solutions to support payments transformation and infrastructure strategies.
- Develop detailed solution architectures, high-level and low-level designs, ensuring seamless integration and adherence to cloud-native principles.
- Implement robust security frameworks, including CNAPP, ZTNA, and automated DevSecOps pipelines, to maintain compliance across multi-cloud environments.
- Design multi-region, high-performance, and low-latency systems leveraging hyperscalers such as AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud, and Google Cloud;
- Develop HA/DR strategies using distributed architectures, data replication, and failover techniques for system resilience.
- Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) to automate code review, security checks, and performance optimization.
- Apply chaos engineering and FURPS testing to validate system reliability and recovery under stress.
- Conduct architecture assessments for scalability, security hardening, and integration with emerging technologies;
- Support business development by participating in technical discovery sessions, solution designs, and proposal development.
- Lead end-to-end project delivery, including resource planning, agile project management, quality assurance, and milestone tracking.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced degrees preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in designing, delivering, and scaling large-scale IT projects, especially across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
- 3+ years in technical leadership roles as a solution architect;
- Proven expertise in cloud-native solutions, microservices, containers (Docker, Podman), and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, OpenShift).
- Experience integrating AI-enhanced operations, quantum-safe technologies, and cloud security practices into enterprise platforms.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and secure coding practices;
- Ability to lead complex, multi-vendor projects from solution design through deployment.
