Product Operations Manager

Job Description

Job Title: Product Operations Manager. Location: Toronto, ON, Canada

Your role will enable the team to execute the product vision efficiently, gather actionable insights, and optimize operational processes.

Duties:

• Plan, coordinate, and track the execution of priority features across a cross-functional team of developers, product managers, designers, and content creators.
• Facilitate communication during the product development cycle to meet timelines and gather input from stakeholders;
• Establish and implement systems, tools, and processes that enable efficient execution and analysis of the product strategy.
• Collect, update, and analyze product and market data to provide actionable insights to product managers;
• Take ownership of product development for specified products, including planning, iteration, reviews, feedback, and quality assurance.
• Collaborate with technical writers, software developers, and other stakeholders to ensure deliverables are met.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, Education, Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in project management and product management for technical or scientific products.
• Knowledge of Python or the scientific Python ecosystem and open-source tools;
• Experience translating high-level technical concepts into clear requirements for developers.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and GitHub.
• Experience or interest in quantum computing or machine learning is preferred;
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
